Welcome!

Welcome to the TCN Band website!  Here, you'll find out all the current information for the Tri-County North Marching Band as well as the Concert Bands.  You (and your family who may not live here) will also be able to make secure online donations, as well as pay for trips, etc.  You can also volunteer to help us out with various things.

We are currently looking for volunteers for Band Camp, Derby Days, Football Concessions, Home Game Tail Gate Meal set-up/tear down; as well as Chaperones for Football Games, Parades, and Band Shows.  If every parent can please sign up for just 2 things on the list, we'd have plenty of help.  It's also a great way to meet other band parents.  The online sign-up sheet is here and everything is listed on the tabs on the bottom.  Thanks so much for your support of the TCN Band Program!

Upcoming activities are:

  • Wednesday, April 24 - 7pm meeting in the lecture room for parents of those marching this coming year.

  • Friday, April 26th - State Concert Band contest at Troy High School, 151 W. Staunton Road. Performance time is 4:45 (please note new time). We will leave TCN right after school to head up. No photography, audio or video recording will be allowed during the performance or the band will be disqualified. We will be going out to eat afterward, so students should bring money.

  • Wednesday, May 1 - Extra rehearsal for the Cedar Point adjudicated contest from 3-5. This is for any 8th-12th grade students going on the trip.

  • Saturday, May 4 - Junior High Band Music in the Parks Festival adjudicated performance followed by the day at Kings Island. Cost information to come.

  • Wednesday, May 8 - Extra rehearsal for the Cedar Point adjudicated contest from 3-5. This is for any 8th-12th grade students going on the trip.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to the High School concert band for receiving a Superior rating at the OMEA District Competition! They will be advancing to the State Competition. Information on that will be announced when we have it.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame/Cedar Point Trip Information Available

Information for our May trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Cedar Point is now up on the website, including the payment schedule. The final payment is due March 15th. Please contact Mrs. Moniaci or Lisa Boggs to find out your amount (they vary because of fundraising credits, balances due, etc.). We have already paid the tour company for the trip, so will need your payment by the due date, please.

Junior High Band Kings Island Trip

On Saturday, May4th, the Junior High Band will compete in the Music in the Parks festival in the morning at Loveland High School, attire is concert black.  After we perform, we will head to the Kings Island Amusement Park.  While at the park, the students will attend an awards ceremony. We will spend the entire day there until the park closes (10pm).   All of the information may be found here, including online payment.



Thanks to the TCN administration for helping us fund, and arranging to build our new practice field tower!  Not only is it a secure structure with plenty of height to see the field and formations, it also will be locked when not in use so others can't climb on it.
