Junior and Senior High Band Kings Island Field Trip
On Saturday, May4th, the Junior High Band will compete in the Music in the Parks festival in the morning at Loveland High School, attire is concert black. After we perform, we will head to the Kings Island Amusement Park. While at the park, the students will attend an awards ceremony. We will spend the entire day there until the park closes (10pm).
Please be advised that if you cancel for any reason, it is non-refundable.
The cost of the trip is $66. Of that, $41 is for the park ticket and the remaining is for the participation in the festival. If you have a season pass or can get your ticket to the park cheaper, please let Mrs. Moniaci know ASAP and all you will have to pay is the $25 for the festival. This is competition, so it is very important that everyone attends.
Please be advised that all students are responsible for bringing their own money for food for the entire day. They can pack a snack for the morning if they would like.
There is plenty of room for chaperones. The cost for chaperones is $41 and Mrs. Moniaci will need to know soon if you are planning on attending.
This has always been a fun and rewarding experience for the students. Not only do they get rewarded for all of their hard work in band, but they will experience competition with judge feedback.
All money for this field trip needs to be turned in by APRIL 1st! Payment may be made below by credit card or checks may be made payable to TCN Band Bosters. Parents will need to turn in the permission slip which came home with students, however it may be downloaded here too.
6:30am - arrive at TCN and load the busses
6:35 - depart TCN
7:35 - arrive at Kings High School
8:00 - JH Warm-up
8:25 - JH performance
9:00 - Depart Kings High School
9:00-10:00 - Stop at McDonalds for a cheap breakfast
10:00- Arrive at Kings Island
6:00pm - Awards at Timberwolf Ampitheater
9:45pm - Meet at front of Kings Island for Fireworks
10:00pm - Depart for Home
11:30 - Arrive at TCN, unload instruments
