senior and Junior High Band Kings Island Trip

On May 15th and 16th the HS and  JH Band will have the opportunity to perform in the Music in the Parks Festival. This year the trip is a little different for many reasons.  Due to scheduling it just ended up making sense to make this an overnight trip.  If you would like more details about this please let me know. I feel that the kids in the band work very hard and besides being a valuable competition, it is also a reward for their hard work and dedication in the band program. Below are prices, itineraries, and hopefully all of the information you will need.  I apologize for the late notice but I had to get the trip school board approved before I could distribute the materials.

 Costs

Total Cost $148 for one student based on 4 people in a room.

What does this include:

-Admission into Kings Island

-Festival performance fee

-Hotel room

-Pizza party Friday evening (provided by the TCN Band Boosters)

-Breakfast Saturday morning at hotel

FOOD AT THE ACTUAL PART IS NOT INCLUDED - Kings Island is cashless (see below)

If you have a season pass:

Total cost $108

Chaperones will need to contact me for exact cost but here is the breakdown:

Hotel cost $320 per room total. Chaperone tickets to KI $39

If you would like to chaperone please let me know ASAP. It is an overnight trip and parents will need to be board approved and I have to know soon exactly how many rooms I need to reserve.

Below is the new policy at Kings Island, after the awards, each student will remain with a chaperone for the remainder of the day.

KINGS ISLAND CHAPEONE POLICY:
The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Kings Island.  Over the past two years, there have been increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior across our industry and at other major entertainment venues. We are committed to keeping Kings Island a place where families and friends come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.

Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to, or remain in the park after 4:00pm local time to close.

The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.

Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver's license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.

Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone when the Chaperone Policy is in effect will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Kings Island ticket and season passholders.

We believe these changes will help ensure that Kings Island continues to have a positive atmosphere where generations of families and friends can gather for a day of safe fun and good food. Millions of guests have counted on us for exactly that, and we will continue to deliver on that promise for generations to come.

Payment Deadline is APRIL 20th!!!!
